Tiago Volpi foi só elogios a Fernando Diniz durante uma live com o ex-atacante Reinaldo, que passou pelo São Paulo no início dos anos 2000. Durante o bate-papo, o goleiro são-paulino fez questão de enaltecer o trabalho realizado pelo comandante tricolor, apontado como um dos principais responsáveis pelo time desempenhar um futebol vistoso nos primeiros meses de 2020.
“A gente tem muitas cartas na manga. O time não depende só de um esquema, de uma situação. A gente consegue mudar durante o jogo e mesclar situações para que o time possa sair de momentos complicados”, afirmou Volpi.
Reinaldo, que hoje se prepara para se tornar treinador de futebol, chegou a fazer uma espécie de estágio no São Paulo recentemente. O ex-jogador acompanhou a rotina de trabalho do elenco tricolor por aproximadamente uma semana e pôde se aprofundar no método de Fernando Diniz.“Sou um dos maiores defensores dele, porque é muito notório. Você passou uma semana com a gente, tu viu o quanto ele trabalha, o quanto ele é exigente”, disse Volpi, se referindo ao período de estádio de Reinaldo no São Paulo.
“Ele tem uma ideia muito clara, não abre mão dos seus princípios. É uma convicção com coerência. Muitas vezes tem pessoas que não abrem mão de suas convicções, mas não há muita coerência. Isso faz com que os jogadores queiram cada vez mais comprar a briga dele, porque sabem que no futuro isso pode render coisas muito positivas”, concluiu Tiago Volpi.
