O zagueiro Matheus Vieira é mais um jogador de Cotia a deixar o São Paulo. O jogador de 19 anos defendia o Tricolor desde 2017 e despediu-se após não chegar a um acordo com o clube por uma renovação. O contrato do defensor chegou ao fim no último domingo.
Matheus Vieira foi titular do Tricolor na última Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior e atuava regularmente pelo time sub-20. O zagueiro chegou ao clube após ser indicado pelo técnico Orlando Ribeiro, que também deixou o São Paulo neste início de ano.
“O contrato do Matheus(Vieira) com o São Paulo se encerrou no último domingo e não chegamos em um denominador em comum para a renovação. Já fechamos com um novo clube. Ele viaja entre hoje e amanhã, só falta o exame físico para a concretização”, afirmou Ricardo Manta, agente do jogador.
No momento, o São Paulo conta com Miranda, Bruno Alves, Arboleda, Léo, Diego Costa, Rodrigo e Walce como opções para a zaga no elenco principal. Lucas Beraldo e Luizão, ambos da base, têm participado de treinos no CT da Barra Funda.
